Gaia Ophthalmic Alliance

Was born from observing the large number of people suffering from blindness and visual impairment throughout the world. It is a non-profit foundation thought to provide low-income people the possibility of having a better quality of life.

Mission

Support people with economic difficulties to improve their visual health, with high-quality optometric and ophthalmic medical attention. Offering them more alternatives so they can recover and take care of their sight.

Vision

We want to become a global organization that can help reduce blindness and visual impairment in developing countries. Having eye clinics in the different points where the foundation is established. Maintaining always a high quality of attention and commitment with the communities supported.

Dr. Abner Grijlva Zozaya, specialized in Ophthalmology, has been dedicated to eye care since 1987.

Dr. Abner Eli Grijalva Ferguson has participated in different medical campaigns and congresses.

He is currently studying Ophthalmology at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel.

Dr. Sara Sofia Ferguson Rodríguez, specialized in Optometry, has supported different medical campaigns. She is currently in the city of Choluteca, Honduras.
